POINTS SYSTEM
Cockington Riding Club runs a points system whereby people who collect points can win awards. Points can only be won by HELPING OUT the Committee and they can be earned by you or friends/family on your behalf. The points system honours members who help the club and means that awards are spread out across the club's membership. To qualify, each member needs to win 50 points and below are details of how this can be achieved. All you need to do is contact a committee member or turn up on show days with your card. Once you have completed one of the activities below a committee member will sign your card. Don't forget your card needs to be returned to the committee at the end of the season.
Don't forget friends and family can earn points for you too!
Attending Enrolment evening/AGM etc 10 points
Helping to set out the showfield at the beginning of the season 20 points
Helping to pack away the showfield at the end of the season 20 points
Stewarding and helping on show days 20 points
You may think you do not have time to get points, but it is easy if you help set up the showfield at the beginning of the season and then help at one event that you are not taking part in. Better still, get a member of your family or a friend to accompany you to set up the showfield and earn all your points in one go at the beginning of the season!
